The Israeli government has allocated at least $26 million to push pro-Israel propaganda on the Internet.  The funds are also being used to target specific groups opposing the illegitimate Jewish state.  The $26 million is just the number that is being reported.  I think it is safe to say that the real number is much higher than that.

You can bet that some of this money will be used to counter our message with paid trolls and other methods of subversion.  They’ve already been doing this for years, it is just interesting to see a mainstream story on it.

Israel is using its world-leading expertise in cyber security to take on the growing threat of the global pro-Palestinian movement to boycott Israel.

The Israeli government recently allotted nearly $26 million in this year’s budget to combat what it sees as worldwide efforts to “delegitimize” the Jewish state’s right to exist. Some of the funds are earmarked for Israeli tech companies, many of them headed by former military intelligence officers, for digital initiatives aimed at gathering intelligence on activist groups and countering their efforts. cont
