How to solve the Middle East crisis in one simple step

Recommended Posts

Both the Jewish and Muslim populations are awaiting their 'Promised One'.  For the Jewish it is the Mashiach.  For the Muslims it is the Mahdi.

All you need is a single individual that satisfies all their prophecies jointly.  If you can't find one, make one up.  It's in a good cause, after all.

Of course Christians would baulk at the idea (Mashiach and Messiah are incompatible) but, given Christ is all about 'Love Thy Neighbour', their religion dictates that one must make sacrifices for the greater good.

So..create the messiah. Ok aside from the hellfire warnings of false gods...

How would a person be able to "prove" or survive the test process? I am sure more evil and brilliant minds than mine have considered this strategy.

You make a good point. If one shows up... Is it real? Live or memmorex?

What is the test process?  Is there one?

Evil minds would never consider a strategy for peace.

Both the Jewish and Islam prophecies say he will be flesh and blood.  No gods need be involved.

Ohh not peace - control.  Think of the control functions possible with curbing two major religions. Those that seriously seek such things are always honing their blades.

As far as knowing the "one", Both religions have a way of knowing who.

In the hadiths, our Prophet (saas) reveals separate details for each of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) physical features, using separate descriptive terms for each.

He sometimes refers to a MOLE, or a MARK, a SIGN or a SEAL and likens these to a LEAF, PEARL or STAR.

In addition to all these, Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) complexion, hair and beard color, stature, build, the general outline of his face, the shape of his head and forehead and features such as his eyebrows, nose and teeth are all described in detail. Putting all this information together, it is clear that these features have never been seen together in one person.

Our Lord has revealed such great detail in order to identify Hazrat Mahdi (as) to the entire world.

This reveals how important it is for Muslims to be able to accurately recognize Hazrat Mahdi (as).

When Hazrat Mahdi (as) is encountered, insha’Allah all Muslims will personally see the accuracy of these astonishingly detailed descriptions of Hazrat Mahdi’s (as) physical characteristics.

They will also be amazed to see how every stage of this holy individual’s life, everything he does everything that happens to him and the moral values he displays in the face of them will all be in complete agreement with the information revealed by our Prophet (saas) 1400 years ago.

And as a result of all this, they will be able to identify Hazrat Mahdi (as) and realize that he is the “Hazrat Mahdi (as)” who has been awaited with great longing and love for so many years.

How will the Islamic world recognize Hazrat Mahdi (as)?

There is no doubt that the hadiths of our Prophet (saas) are the most important guides to Muslims’ being able to identify Hazrat Mahdi (as).

As a blessing from Allah, Rasulullah (saas) has made people acquainted with Hazrat Mahdi (as) through the most flawless descriptions, as if he had seen and known him and witnessed his life.

Our Prophet’s (saas) descriptions of Hazrat Mahdi (as) are so detailed and explicit that when Hazrat Mahdi (as) appears those who see him will, by Allah’s leave, immediately be able to recognize him.

Allah reveals in the Qur’an that the People of the Book recognizes our Prophet (saas) sent to them as a messenger in the same way they “recognize their own sons:”

Those We have given the Book recognise it as they RECOGNIZE THEIR OWN SONS. Yet a group of them knowingly conceal the truth. (Surat al-Baqara, 146)

For starters, are you descended from King David, and if so can you prove this?  Are you well-versed in Jewish law and an observant (we might say today,  Orthodox,  or traditional,  Jew) ?   Do you have any followers from amongst the Jews?   Are you any good with soldiering,  raising an army,  military maneuvers, and the like?   Are you a citizen of or able to become a citizen of Israel ?  Are you frequently called upon for your wisdom in arbitrating affairs within your section of the Jewish community?  What's your plan with regards to the Temple (the re-establishment thereof, mainly)?   You may notice there's currently a large globally important mosque situated there, and non-Muslims are not allowed by Israeli law to establish prayer within the vicinity.    So you're looking at a lot of obstacles here, incidentally.

"The mashiach will be a great political leader descended from King David  (Jeremiah 23:5). The mashiach is often referred to as 'mashiach ben David'  (mashiach, son of David). He will be well-versed in Jewish law, and observant of its commandments (Isaiah 11:2-5). He will be a charismatic leader, inspiring others to follow his example. He will be a great military leader, who will win  battles for Israel. He will be a great judge, who makes righteous decisions (Jeremiah 33:15). But above all, he will be a human being, not a god, demi-god or other supernatural being.

Ah yes.  The thing with prophecies is that they never work out as expected.  For example, the Muslims are looking for a fellow Muslim because he is 'from among the progeny of Mohammed'.  How about someone not Muslim with a Muslim brother-in-law descended from Mohammed?  He would still be 'from among the progeny of Mohammed', especially if the brother-in-law and sister have a child, the Mahdi's niece?

The Jewish prophecies never mention 'King David'.  They only refer to 'David'.  Could be any David. There are many non-Jews called David.

Mashiach sounds like the surname Marshall.  Mahdi isn't far off.   A marshal leads an army.  'Mashiach ben David' could simply be a descendant of a David Marshall.

Where there's a will there is a way.

If they invented this individual he would be admitted into an insane asylum faster than you can say, this guy is a fruitcake.

Imagine if someone came up to you and told you he was the Son of God.  Would you believe him or think he is crazy?

Christians accepted Jesus and he spent 40 days AWOL in the desert talking to the devil and had a death wish.

The solution is to leave God out of the equation.

Creating a false prophet as a means of deception, varnished with a thin coating of greater good... Seems a bit insidious.
