Here's the real pattern of Rs and war

Bush gave major tax cuts. So people didn't complain about all those wars because they didn't feel the pain of paying for a war.

Trump gave major tax cuts. So people are not going to complain about the next wars.

Simple R strategy? Give the people some crumbs so they stfu about everything else.

That's not to say that the Dems are against war, either, look at Obammy. He didn't even give any tax cuts, however, the Bush tax cuts remained in force during his term. Both side like war because they profit in so many ways.

War is coming.

I'm not sure any war coming up soon unless it's against Venezuela is going to be like any wars you've ever fought before. All the potential targets apart from VZ can fight back in ways that can generate US casualty rates in the 5-6 figure range in a heartbeat and in the 7 figure range after a year.

This includes Iran. She can take out aircraft carriers, close the straits of Hormuz and rain missiles into Israel like nobody's business and Iron Dome ain't gonna stop her if she's attacked. She'd have trouble generating more than a 5 figure range in anything other than the US naval population but 6 figures will definitely happen in Israel, because she won't be stopped and she won't be alone and the IDF is useless when its faced with real opposition which it will because battle-hardened Hezbollah and Syrian forces will be pouring across her borders as well as Iranians and if Israel goes nuclear the fallout affects her own population as well as the target's.

And this is a different equation than anything the US has taken on since WWII. All you've ever faced since then are weak targets against which you can assemble force majeur without hindrance. But this time you will be hindered in assembling that, and force majeur is the only tactic your entire military leadership has ever had practical battle experience with, at the strategic level.

Imagine an environment where your comms and your surveillance is unusable because of enemy interference, where missiles fly accurately toward you despite stealth, where most of your weapons won't work because GPS has been rendered unavailable and when it is available it's reflecting questionable accuracy.

That's the battlefield the US will face with any of the potential targets available today, except VZ.

Even saber rattling isn't the right word, more like sword prancing. Honestly I just can't see it coming.

I couldn't see it coming either if I didn't know about the PNAC list. Iran and Lebanon are all that are left on the list, the other 5 countries have already been invaded. Iran is next if anyone is.

Its just one 9/11 like false flag away .............

and boom!

The unimaginable ... is not only imaginable ... but just and necessary.

And don’t forget how the right wing plays their bullshit games....

Just think about how they react when you criticize Trump .....

wait til you question his wars .....

and the Bush era hysteria over “patriotism” will happen all over again

... but for a new generation that doesn’t remember that shit.
