Out-of-control Chinese space station 'will crash into Earth over Easter weekend' (revised dates)

The out-of-control Chinese space station will crash down back to Earth over Easter weekend, experts have said.

According to the European Space Agency's Space Debris Office in Darmstadt, Germany, debris from Tiangong-1 will splash down between March 30 and April 2 across the northern hemisphere.

The space agency said these dates were "highly variable" and that it would be offering revised forecasts every couple of days.

They are going to keep revising it but honestly I was looking at march 29th - april 17th.  Seems this is nearer the 29th date. But let's see if they change it again!

Just off the east coast now. It updates every day or so. Will have to wait till we approach close before the location is more solid.

It looks like they've narrowed the latitudes down a bit. 35°S to 35°N.

I don't think any space item has ever had my attention as much as this. Not even past comets! I want resolution... does that make sense? Kinda weird.

Let's hope it lands in a field near here.

Could use a few spare parts. Already have my thermal mittens ready.

Worth more if sell them on Ebay like the parts of the space shuttle Columbia disaster. But be quick, they might pull the add. Craigslist might work too.

Why have things been falling out of orbit quicker then predicted lately?

This space station and the disco ball star too?
