Facebook to hold crisis meeting without Zuckerberg

Facebook is holding an open meeting for all employees following allegations that data belonging to its users was harvested by Cambridge Analytica.

The company's chief executive and founder Mark Zuckerberg has not commented on the scandal nor made a public appearance since the story broke.

An open meeting of employees is a lot different than a special meeting of the executive committee or a shareholders meeting. Employee meetings are often big taffy pulls and the command structure will tell you what you will
know, what you will do, and how you will act. The linked article by OP has a delightful note about how some people are acting like real investigative journalists. This is great:
"In an undercover investigation, Channel 4 News secretly filmed Cambridge Analytica's chief executive Alexander Nix speaking to a reporter posing as a potential client from Sri Lanka.
Raising the possibility of "somebody posing as a wealthy developer" in an explanation of the company's election services, Mr Nix said: "They will offer a large amount of money to the candidate, to finance his campaign in exchange for land."

*** Come on, people! Stop looking at Russia and start looking closer to home for bad actors. Like Zuck.

They may be trying to spin it so it seems to the idiot moronic sheeple with Farcebook accounts that sharing their private data isn't the business model.

But they may have also truly misunderstood the reality that their Fakebook subscribers aren't all hate left useful idiots like the people who work there.

https://thewashingtonreporter.com/collusion-leaked-emails-show-facebook-coo-sheryl-sandberg-wanted-hillary-win-badly-met-provide-secret-data/

New emails provided by Wikileaks show that Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg wanted Hillary Clinton to win “badly”, provided research to her in March 2015 and met privately with her on multiple occasions.

(More at linky)

The emails make a damning case that Hillary Clinton was colluding with Facebook all along to obtain private voter information.

We’ve also learned in recent days that Russia purchased Pro-Hillary Clinton ads on Facebook which included those supporting Black Lives Matter.

The meeting was held and they all concluded it would be a wise strategy to change the name to "Arsebook".   :smiley_flowers:

MSM should hate Facebook because they compete for peoples attention.  All but CNN will probably say something bad about it.

Mark is in the bunker...
