Walmart Files Patent for Autonomous Bee Drones

Recommended Posts

WTF !

Walmart is seeking further control of its supply chain, as the pollinator drones are among six “patents targeting farm automation. The applications propose using drones to identify pests attacking crops, monitor crop damage, spray pesticides, and pollinate crops.”  https://themindunleashed.com/2018/03/walmart-files-patent-for-autonomous-bee-drones.html

Let's keep sometging in mind as my wife is a beekeeper

Honey bees are docile, kind and a main contributor to our existence.

They do not strike unless the queen is in jeapordy.

Wasps, hornets and yellow jackets are nasty. Repeadly strike their opponents without losing their stingers...also...they invade honey bee hives to feed on the babies...it takes alot of honey bees to kill the intruder.

I think mother nature will not allow this in country settings...

Urban settings....this can go unchecked.

Rural, farmlands....chickens eat bees, birds eat bees....bees kill bees....

I think insects and animals will be very curious....

Peck and prod until "something" occurs.

I'm also struck by the thought of other bees following these in swarms...

Hmmmm

Bizarre and truly invasive on every level.

These aren't here to do the job of cross pollination are they since the bee populations decimation from wifi?

Have you seen the videos of these bee drones.  They are small, they can be fitted with tiny cameras, and they can send constant information back.  These things will be buzzing around and spying on people too no doubt.  There will be no privacy - even on your own property in the middle of nowhere.  Hell, I bet these things can even look in your windows.   Technology is not mans best friend.

Perhaps some clever computer nerdy type will figure out a way to hack them, hive them and swarm them on a Walmart.... shop would be emptied in minutes..:gsbrnint:
