UNESCO Warns Easter Island Statues Could Be Lost to Sea, Hidden History

Recommended Posts

Easter Island, the remote volcanic island home of nearly 900 ancient monumental statues, is at risk of disappearing into the sea, according to the latest report from UNESCO. The world heritage body blamed rising tides, which have been rapidly eroding the island’s coasts for years. However, the group is now warning that rising sea levels could completely destroy the island’s iconic ‘heads.’

"Some Easter Island statues are at risk of being lost to the sea because of coastal erosion," said Adam Markham, deputy director of the Climate and Energy Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists and lead author of the report.

This is complete Bullshit ! There are hundreds of atolls that would go under water first. None of them have and there is no documented evidence of "sea rise" anywhere in the world. Sinking land maybe. The high tide and low tide mark has remained the same for thousands of years with no change anywhere in the world.

Yeah, I don't believe it either. But the statues are interesting, weird this got posted because last night I was going to dig up some info on the statues and post in hard core and never got around to it.

Micronesian atolls should already be underwater by now according to the climate agitprops, but they aren't.

If you have a background on the  Giants of old. This story may interest you then.  It ties directly to Easter Island and other Pacific Island ancestries. warning : it may contradict the prevailing accounts of history.

:glitkiss:  Thanks! Looks fascinating and I'm always happy to see contradictions of what are usually mainstream lies.
