Schwarzenegger wants to sue Big Oil for ‘First Degree Murder’

Recommended Posts

Movie star, former California governor and global environmental activist Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced that he is taking oil companies to court “for knowingly killing people all over the world.”

“This is no different from the smoking issue. The tobacco industry knew for years and years and years and decades, that smoking would kill people, would harm people and create cancer, and were hiding that fact from the people and denied it. Then eventually they were taken to court and had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars because of that,” Schwarzenegger said at a live recording of Politico’s ‘Off Message’ podcast.

Irrelevance must be quite frightening to him.

He lied to thousands of California students who's parents paid taxes and who qualified for entrance into the university system. He told them if they would delay (they had no choice) entering by spending 2 years in Jr colleges, he would guarantee their admittance into the UC system. Their earned spots in the system were SOLD to out of state and foreign students who pay far more in tuition than state residents, WHO'S parents often paid the highest state taxes in the US for schools.

After the two years in Jr college, these students were again refused admission as the Governor had promised. He had lied to them again. There are administrators  in the UC system making a Million $ a year. The University needs outside the state money to fund these obscene salaries. These kids, now likely working graduates of state colleges (not the university) should sue his ass. I don't know if that can be done to a government employee.

A friend's kid, who kept a 4.0 in the sciences was never able to gain entrance into the university system. I saw Arnold's BS first hand. He's a complete sack of sh*t !

Arnold is right, but anything that goes against the corporate slavery motif
is barked against by Trumpbots.

Publicity stunt although this most certainly is, how can anyone side against Arnold on this? He gets the highest accolades for even injecting this idea into the public sphere. Not that anything will come of it, but this is a pretty decent way for one to use their celebrity status.

Considering the world is held hostage by and has gone to war on behalf of Big Oil, Arnold has a solid point.
