Checkpoints are unconstitutional in a free society yet too many states are in violation. How is this a productive use of a police force? Those are offenses, punishable by fine, not crimes.

Generally, those 3 offenses are often associated with illegal immigrants but if they stopped darker skinned people it would be profiling so maybe this is a cover?

I get around some and one thing I have noticed is there are vary few doughnut shops anymore , with that being said maybe they need something to do .

To serve and protect ya right it looks more like they are terrorizing the citizens .

They want and need revenue. Going after people for petty infractions poses little danger to themselves and nets a wad of cash at the same time. It's easy to stop this kind of thing in small towns if the people get together and say no.
