Preliminary magnitude 4.2 earthquake strikes near San Diego

There was also a 3.6 about an hour ago.

When I feel these things, I pause, experienced quakes in the past where it starts with a little shake then hits the bigger shake, so, I always wonder, if this is going to be a little one or is this the precursor to a bigger one.

That's some pretty good sized quakes, wonder if these are foreshocks for a big one yet to come.

Earth Quake 3D has the last one listed at 3.7 as apposed to USGS at 3.6

Just left the USGS map. While our west coast is getting more than its fair share of small shakers, the overall ring of fire is relatively quiet. Alaska has only had two small quakes in the past 24hrs!
