Pontiac, Michigan — Glenn Greenwald made a name for himself in June 2013 when he helped facilitate the release of documents obtained by Edward Snowden that detailed the National Security Agency’s extensive domestic surveillance program. Published in The Guardian and The Washington Post, the article series won the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.
Before becoming a journalist, Greenwald litigated cases concerning constitutional law and civil rights. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he described his work on First Amendment cases as “a heroic attribute to be so committed to a principle you apply it not when it’s easy . . . not when it supports your position, not when it protects people you like, but when it defends and protects people that you hate.” cont

With no access to uncensored news the USA is indeed a tyranny.

Only official White House approved press releases are fed to the masses.

The Propaganda Ministry has been well in place for decades now.

Newspapers are carefully controlled so the media is no problem for tyrants.

Only the Internet allows real news to escape into public consciousness.

Once the corrupt serpents in charge shut down the Internet they win!

Plans are underway to make that a reality.

What does a :padllbli: like >>>  :smfjsraq: know anyway?

Damn H******** mutha!

tha sad part of fear mongering like this is that we as the people actually control all the internet(s). we can create our own at any time, and we can shut down another at any time. a huge problem for the governments of the world is that every time they try to censor the web, they simply create more versions of the web. they are leading everyone into a house for safekeeping, but left all the windows and doors open. better to learn about technology than to fear that it can be used against you. the more you know, the less you fear.

From Team Internet/Team Freedom:

The bureaucrats at the FCC were shut down today with a bill that bans FCC Chairman Wheeler’s plans to regulate the prices of broadband service.

With your help, reporters, Hill staffers, and lawmakers, saw the video that proved Wheeler was nothing but a policy #CartWheeler.

And your calls to Congress lead to H.R. 2666 passing through a bipartisan vote today!
