Breaking: McConnell Announces Senate Republicans Have Secured Tax Reform Vote

Recommended Posts

Senate Republicans have just passed an historic milestone, giving President Donald Trump a major legislative victory.

According to CBS News, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Friday that Senate Republicans had secured enough votes to pass the GOP’s major tax reform bill.

“We have the votes,” McConnell reportedly told reporters when he left the Senate floor after holding a meeting behind closed doors with members of the conference.

But in a turnaround, Flake gave Republicans their 50th "yes" vote on Friday, saying he had been able to get rid of a "budget gimmick" and had gotten a commitment from leadership win permanent protections for young immigrants who had been allowed to work in the United States under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Did he also get his automatic tax raises? He was pushing that stupidity.

That alone you think? I'm thinking more?

I'm wondering about the automatic raises so they can spend as much as they want and we pay for it. That is extremely dangerous economics.
