Black Friday 2017 Shatters Single-Day Record for Gun Purchase Background Checks

Recommended Posts

Black Friday 2017 shattered the single-day background check record by logging over 200,000 checks.

Breitbart News reported that Black Friday 2015 set a single-day record for background checks with 185,345 checks. One year later, Business Insider reported that “the FBI processed 185,713 background checks” on Black Friday 2016, setting a new record.

Now USA Today reports the FBI processed 203,086 background checks on Black Friday 2017. The magnitude of such a number of checks performed on one day is difficult to overstate.

So... Obama is no longer the best gun salesman in history, the Democrat Party is, though. 21 New gun control laws making their way through CONgress.

Expecting  banning  of all 5.56 calibers and such other carbines..   to be back on the table again soon.  * Like 7n6 was, just a matter of time

It's just a formality anyway. If you live within a 100 miles/161km of the border, you were already subject to a warrantless search and seizure of your property. They may not be doing it much but that is already a law. Cell phone, computers, houses, whatever. That is called the Constitution free zone. Catchy name don'tcha think? ;) This law was for fly over country. I knew it was coming one day. No one complained when it was just within 100 miles of the borders. It's for 'safety' reasons. They are keeping us 'safe' from the bad men. :gsbrnint:

LOL!! Obviously, many of you haven't been keeping up. Summer is typically slow for gun sales anyway. I've mentioned before that prices have been dropping steadily (with the exception of quality revolvers ). $450 will get you a decent AR and if you pay $300 for a solid CCW-size semi auto, you're getting burned. And the surplus market is a jaw dropper right now and I expect prices in that sector will drop even lower if the rumor I heard yesterday is true.
