Bare Necessities | Bear enters hunter's cabin, steals two guns

Recommended Posts

One brown bear turned the tables on a Russian hunter earlier this month by stealing two of his firearms

The peculiar incident, which took place in the remote Siberian region of Irkutsk, saw the brazen animal waltz in to the cabin while the occupant was out fetching water from a nearby river.

The bear in question is understood to be in possession of a Vepr carbine and an IZH shotgun.

Brown bears are very smart!  He'll abandon those weapons as soon as he figures out he can't get his paw around the trigger :gsbrnint:

That's when you stitch 'em in the crotch so they can't chase you. :club:

Hunter might bag himself a free bear if it's not smart enough not to shoot itself. Suicide Bear Pelt. One of a kind!

Yep...there's a reason they call them Kodiak brown bears. During the salmon run, you share with Gentle Ben who's just across the river from you.

I didn’t know the “Right to bear arms” extended into Siberia...

Learn something new every day

If the hunter sees “Molon Labe” scratched into a tree or two, probably time to go home. :gsbrnint:
