I must put it out there to all wannabe muslim suicide bombers, I am wearing pig skin underpants, pig skin shirt and pig fat skin lotion. So think twice about trying to blow up any white westerners from now on because your journey to those 77 virgins might not quite happen how you think it may.

They let it happen, many held up signs saying c'mon in.

Yep yep. They brought their own downfall in all in the name of new liberalism(communism)

This happened in February of 2016.

The guy getting arrested for the pig hat was only detained for a few hours, after the people with the hats were being asked to remove the hats. They were protesting the incoming asylum, with a pig hat. But, it was perceived as "instigation" and people were asked to remove the hats - and this would be the result of them not doing so. No, we do not have sharia law. My country has many problems, its adherence to it's laws being a dilemma we are facing in many ways. No matter who you are, you're not allowed to break the law - and in this case, those who came to protest knew that they were making a cheeky joke with the hats and the reality is this could provoke violence. So, who are the police going to confront if they want to ensure that the protest doesn't get out of hand? The protesters wearing the hats. You don't see us protest much for a reason. We don't. We actually have a lot of super open communication with our government because we're a tiny country (and have a thousand parties - with its own problems, though we officially have a government again! Yaaay  ). Protesting isn't the most effective way to communicate with out government. So say what you will about what happened here, but maintaining the peace in a calm way is better than letting the protests get out of hand.

If you want to rag on my country, choose the things that are actually happening. :p

Just got a working government in place again, took so long Merkel was taking swings at us.

- We provide, according to some numbers, as much as 50% of the ecstasy distribution globally.

- We're the criminal capital of Europe! Pretty ironic since we are also home to the European equivalent of the US Supreme Court ...

- We have a really racist winter tradition, America's Santa Claus is a bit of a bastardisation of our Sinterklaas, in which he has black people who work for him - not elfs. We were doing black face every year come the beginning of December as recently as last year. Pretty sure there will be people still doing it this year, even though officially it's "coloured Pete" now.

It seems odd to me that silly hats could cause violence. Who would be the assailants?
The piggy hats wearers, the asylum seekers or those who want the immigrants?
