Paris Wants to Ban the Combustion Engine by 2030

Paris wants to ban all cars with traditional combustion engines from its streets by 2030, in the latest sign of how environmental concerns are increasingly dictating the rules of the game for the auto sector.

“Transport is one of the main greenhouse gas producers… so we are planning an exit from combustion engine vehicles, or fossil-energy vehicles, by 2030,” Christophe Nadjovski, an official responsible for transport policy at city hall, told the ratio station France Info.

External combustion then. Stirling engines maybe since any fuel that makes heat can be used.

Wood gasification...

Maybe they want to ban anything but bikes..

They are going backwards. Stupid carbon tax...

Sorry, major fail.

The main "greenhouse" gas is produced by mother nature.

It is called H2O.

There's a lot of elements to this AGW scam. One of them is the oil companies have huge investments in the fuel distribution infrastructure and if you wanted to make the taxpayer to pay to replace those with electric, what would be a good way to do that?

Will still need an energy to produce the electricity.

Right now the cheapest and most efficient is hydrocarbons.

Personally think that more and more need to deeply study the Science of Physical Economics.  And put the Science of Financial Economics and even the Science of Political Economics to sleep for a year or two.  When both wake up two years down road, many things will have been revealed of how the Love of Money has made great Evil.
