Trump Credited With ICE Agents Ability to Deport Illegal Aliens from L.A. Jails

Well, Alvarado, if you object to politically motivated and sensationalized tragedy, why not jump on the bandwagon and help us fight to keep our second amendment rights? This guy was a five time illegal immigrant that shot this woman in cold blood for no reason. The county officials imposed RULES (get that? not calling them laws!) that didn't allow the feds to go into jails to find illegals. I don't mean to harp on this, but if enough people had attended the meetings when the county made up these rules and opposed them, they couldn't have done it in the first place. I didn't post this so much because of the Trump headline, but more to show you what happens when we are apathetic and don't exercise our rights. So many atrocities happen because we are not paying attention. We have to exercise our power and we have to do it now. It's not even certain if they're going to use the power they now have back in their hands because of Obama's "policies". ugh

Donald Trump is being given credit for a new L.A. County policy that lets federal agents “interview [jail] inmates who have committed serious crimes” to gauge if they need to be deported.

“It appears the ‘Trump Effect’ is now having an impact on Los Angeles County policy,” complained Pablo Alvarado, a spokesman for the pro-migrant National Day Laborer Organizing Network.

GOP presidential hopeful Trump has surged to the top of national polls by campaigning for the construction of a wall on the southern border, an end to illegal immigration, and the capture and deportation of dangerous illegals.

The county’s popular pro-American shift, announced Sept 22, came amid public anger after five-time illegal migrant Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez allegedly shot and killed Kathryn Steinle on Pier 14 in San Francisco. “The [new] policy appears politically motivated and impacted by sensationalized tragedy,” Alvarado complained.

ICE was created in 2003 to kick ass and take names.

They did this quite well. If you got arrested or detained, you could bet they would be looking at you closely.

All that seemed to change several years later. (I wonder why?)

Now the policy seems to be, "Hands Off the Poor Fellow".
