I thought so, too! But was never sure enough to answer it as the 06 left me saying to myself, 'I'm missing something'.

That said, this question did leave me dumbfounded and realizing just how much I use to know, but don't anymore lol. I hope your right so I can feel good about my guess. If it was on a SAT or something as multichoice I'dda had it for sure! ^.^;;;; and by that I mean 1 in four odds >.>

Not really math - it is a simple thing that most 10 year old kids get quite quickly.  Must say it took me a while ..

 

78 is soooo close.

Answer: If you turn it upside-down, the answer is immediate (87), which is likely why children get it quicker because adults try to look for a mathematical pattern in the numbers rather than just orienting their perspective.
