Is the lhc supercollider an earthquake machine?

Recommended Posts

when I heard about the china quake, I figured cern was up again. they are.  http://lhcdashboard.web.cern.ch/lhcdashboard/                   not sure how accurate anything is anymore as far as times and data.  https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/     but when they first fired it back up a couple years back, every shut down it seemed like a 4+ quake usually around papua new guinea , until they shut down for 2 weeks for calibration then that stopped. maybe dialing it in? they gotta dump that energy somewhere.
