Passenger sues airline after needle in seat pocket forced him to get HIV tests

Recommended Posts

A passenger sued an airline after allegedly being forced to undergo a year of HIV testing because he was pricked by a needle hidden in a plane seat pocket.

Gabriel Ybarra was flying from LAX to Atlanta in 2015 when the incident took place, according to a lawsuit.

TMZ article:

Getting a dirty needle stick is definitely cause to be upset and angry. If all of this is true, then it's a shame, but I'm thinking the guy isn't going to get as much as he thought, because there was no intent and negligence is minimal. Who'd think there would be a needle in a seat like that?
