Fort Worth Police Take 911 Call… And Buy WW2 Vet New Air Conditioning Unit

Recommended Posts

It gets hot in Fort Worth, Texas.

That’s why when 95-year-old World War II veteran Julius Hatley called 911 after his air conditioning broke down, two officers were faced with a difficult situation — and what they chose to do is going viral.

TheBlaze reports that officers William Margolis and Christopher Weir were dispatched to what was considered a low-priority call, and they discovered that there was no fixing the broken-down window unit. With the heat at 85 outside, the apartment would be stifling.

Nice to see them helping out. Too much negative news about cops. Nice to read something nice once in a while! Even if only as a reminder that good cops exist!
