First U.N. talks to save oceans is set to kick off

World leaders will convene at U.N. headquarters this week for the first major bid to solve the toughest problems facing our oceans, from coral bleaching to plastic pollution, overfishing and rising seas due to climate change.

The Ocean Conference in New York from Monday to Friday will attempt to rally nations big and small to make meaningful changes to preserve what is arguably the Earth’s most important resource, experts say.

U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accord is expected to be a hot topic at the talks, which no high-ranking U.S. officials are expected to attend.

But despite Trump’s decision Thursday to end U.S. participation in the Paris deal, which drew worldwide condemnation, experts at the Pew Charitable Trust said the United States has been a part of crafting a broad “call to action,” and is expected to sign it.

Unfortunately people are too stupid to see that if you dump shit into the ocean it's gonna hurt future generations, so now the UN has to step in. We the people need to step the f**k up and start acting like big boys and girls or government intrusion is going to peak in ways we can't even imagine.

They are because they enable the corporations who are really in charge to do what they want.

Turn off your lights! Turn down your heat and wear more clothing as they commit fraud, waste and abuse every single day.

The UN is there to preserve the world for the elite, eliminating access and controlling large swaths of land where you are fined if you step off the path they made.  These same crooks have no credibility in making decisions for others. They're total scum.
