China sends NK coal ships back home

Coal being North Korea's primary export. Squeezing them economically. Does this not sound similar to how we squeezed Japan via oil and, by some experts measures, forced them to attack Pearl Harbor? When people start starving, they get desperate. Maybe the goal here is to goad NK into attacking the US fleet, be it nuclear or conventional? Thoughts?
