Major Flood Alert! West Coast USA - Several Storms Inbound + Snowpack Melt

Published on Mar 20, 2017We've got multiple storms & atmospheric rivers inbound to the West Coast USA & Canada over the next week & rapid snowpack melt in some areas. This is combined with areas already experiencing flooding, the Oroville Dam situation and wild weather fluctuations. The Horrific Flooding situation in Peru & Brazil should scare everyone awake to the worst case scenarios. God bless everyone, T @newTHOR on twitterhttps://www.facebook.com/thornewsgo articles on the storms http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather... Early week storm to drench Northern, central California Stormy weather will resume in California with rain, mountain snow and even thunderstorms sweeping through early this week. After spotty rain dampened northern California this weekend, a cold front moving onshore during Monday and Tuesday will end the stretch of dry weather that spanned the last two weeks across more of the state. “After a recent break from the active weather pattern, Californians must brace for the next brush with the atmospheric river of moisture,” AccuWeather Meteorologist Kyle Elliott said. Residents across northern areas and the central coast will have to don their rain jackets for the first day of spring as rain spreads inland over the northern and central counties of the state. “The worst of the storm will hold off until Monday night and into Tuesday, when the heaviest downpours are forecast to move onshore,” Elliott said. Enough rain can fall to result in localized flooding, particularly in low-lying and poor-drainage areas. Drivers should take caution to avoid flooded areas. "The greatest risk for areas of flooding will be along the western slopes of the mountains in northern and central California, where a total of 1-3 inches of rain can pour down," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said. “Streams and rivers already running above-normal levels can exceed flood stage and pose a risk to homeowners living in flood plains," Elliott said. When though San Francisco and the Interstate 5 corridor of the Central Valley will ...

Incoming "Sky River"-California | More flooding possible | Oroville

Published on Mar 20, 2017March 20, 2017: An "Atmospheric River" appears to be forming in the Pacific off of the California coast increasing the chances of more flooding in the Central and Northern part of the Western Sierras. Accuweather model suggests 1-3 inches today and a chance of rain for the next 10 days in Central California, Sacramento area. The ground is already saturated and the aquifers should be a maximum capacity...

Dont really think its a big issue. It rains here alot.

agreed.  more hype from drama queens.   1-3 inches of rain in Sacramento has nothing to do with the situation in the Sierras and the Sierras is all that matters for Oroville.   The situation bears monitoring but this is NOT impending disaster...far from it.

Denial, in ordinary English usage, is asserting that a statement or allegation is not true.[1] The same word, and also abnegation (German: Verneinung), is used for a psychological defense mechanism postulated by psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud, in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence.[1][2][3] An individual that exhibits such behaviour is described as a denialist[4] or true believer. Denial also could mean denying the happening of an event or the reliability of information, which can lead to a feeling of aloofness and to the ignoring of possibly beneficial information.

The subject may use:

simple denial: deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether

minimisation: admit the fact but deny its seriousness (a combination of denial and rationalization)

projection: admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility by blaming somebody or something else.

Marlowe's prediction is the Oroville Dam will break in the middle of the night in the next 11 days.....
