FDA: Kind Bars Can’t Be Labeled “Healthy” But Big Food Can Make False Claims

Those noble sentinels of our health at the FDA have laid down a verdict. According to them, Kind bars aren’t healthy and they must immediately stop claiming that they are.  They sent the following warning letter:


The FDA’s biggest concern with Kind bars seems to be the healthy fat found in nuts. Healthy fats are very important for proper brain function, satiety, absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, skin health, and the prevention of heart attacks and strokes.
