Posting this so you guys hold me accountable lol Juice fasting

Today is day one.  I'm drinking mostly green juices, spinach, romaine, cucumber and carrot juice with green apples. 

My goal is to do it for 14 days. I did it for 11 before and don't even know why I stopped when I did, I felt great. 

First 3 days are the worst, after that no more hunger.  

I've got a masticating juicer and am using only organic veggies and fruit.

I was gonna wait until NY but why wait? lol  I ate enough junk food already. 

Anybody wanna join me? Misery loves company! haha Oh, the detox is so not fun.

hi cin. I wish I could commit to detoxing. but there is temptation all around me.  I don't think I can last for 24 hours...maybe 12. would love to drop at least 1 pound for new year

Ok, fine, abandon me to starve. See if I care. :chuckle: See all yer fat butts in a week, then.

That's really odd you would be doing this now.

I am also preparing to do a similar protocol in about one week.

Started planning 2 day's ago. lol.

I am also starting a new adventure with self-watering vegetable planters. I just received a ready made from amazon which will grow organic cherry tomatoes. Will be making larger self-watering containers and pots in the spring by using buried fill olla's.

@Cinnamon , you were having trouble last summer with all the heat while trying to grow your veggies. A self-watering system is the way to go with a buried fill olla. Besides, I just think this would be so you!

I have been doing a watered down version for about 4 months now.

I use 6 parts low-sodium V8 vegetable juice to 1 part organic Bolthouse Farms 100% carrot juice.

I can't get enough of it. Especially when it's ice cold from the fridge. I drink it 3-4 times daily.

When I start my planned protocol, I will incorporate 3 additional things.

1. Liquid Chlorophyll 

2. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

3. Fish Oil

I will also use various herbal supplements such as Turmeric, Ginger Root, etc.

Yeh, I'm throwing the kitchen sink at myself. lol  

Dandelion tea with cinnamon.

Lugols

Massive doses of vitamin C (liposomal)

DAY 2! I wasn't hungry yesterday or today. I was the other times I did it, really hungry the first 3 days. 

Got a slight headache, but it's a detox headache. Otherwise, energy level is good.

Day 3, no more detox headache. Looking forward to tomorrow, the 4th day is when I start feeling awesome, colors are brighter and inflammation starts to go away from previous injuries.

Kudos to you for sticking to your game plan!

Determination is by far even better than willpower.

For you, the 4th day is where the benefits begin to show, and which helps to push you forward.
