First it was pollution... now it's RATS! Paris is forced to close tourist attractions including the Eiffel Tower after rodents over-run the city following terrible smog

Five parks and the Champ de Mars near the Eiffel Tower have been closed due to rising rat problem

It comes after the city is enforcing traffic restrictions to combat worst air pollution in a decade

Cold weather and windless conditions have trapped car exhaust, wood smoke and other pollutants in Paris

Fine airborne particles known as PM10 are approximately 60 percent of levels of Beijing

What? This is not passing the smell test. Sounds to me like there are terror threats and they are not rats!

Video of the rats.....

My first thought...Could it be it's too dangerous there anymore? Of course it's not like they are concerned for their citizens's safety, but more like trying to cover up the problem.

Pfft...they just need to ease up on restrictions and allow some 13yo+'s to make a few coins per rat with an old Daisy.

Back during F. Marcos' rule, kids in the Philippines were paid 7 pesos (roughly $1US) for every rat they brought to Olongapo's mayor's office. They were like gunsmoke with slingshots. LOL! We used to trade them trashed ball bearings for reefer.
