the "dystopian satire" is now reality, poor Mr Orwell is undoubtedly spinning like a top in his grave as we speak.

This type of mass surveillance is first tested in the UK/EU and if "they" get away with it, then it starts in Canada and the US. It works in the opposite direction too. Uk has more cameras per head of population, watching the public, than any other western country.  WHAT are they worried about that the public have to be watched all the time???

AI is making reality far, far more terrifying than Orwell's vilest wet dream.  Not only do they have access to more data than 1984 even knew would exist, but the ability to analyse it, real time, exists now and is improving  at a phenomenally rapid rate.
