Breaking: WikiLeaks releases The Yemen Files

Recommended Posts

The Yemen Files are a collection of over 500 documents from the United States embassy in Sana’a, Yemen. Comprising of over 200 emails and 300 PDFs, the collection details official documents and correspondence pertaining to the Office for Military Cooperation (OMC) located at the US embassy. The collection spans the period from 2009 until just before the war in Yemen broke out in earnest during March 2015. This time covers both Hillary Clinton’s term as Secretary of State (2009-2013) and the first two years of Secretary John Kerry.

Julian Assange said: “The war in Yemen has produced 3.15 million internally displaced persons. Although the United States government has provided most of the bombs and is deeply involved in the conduct of the war itself reportage on the war in English is conspicuously rare.”

Yemen is of significant strategic interest as Yemen controls a narrow choke point to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal through which 11% of the world’s petroleum passes each day. In addition Yemen borders Saudi Arabia (to the north) and Oman (to the east) and has access to the Arabian Sea through which another 20% of the world’s petroleum passes from the Strait of Homuz (including the oil of Saudi Arabia and Iran). Saudi Arabia seeks to control a port in Yemen to avoid the potential constriction of its oil shipments by Iran along the Straight of Homuz or by countries which can control its other oil shipment path along the Red Sea.

The Yemen Files offer documentary evidence of the US arming, training and funding of Yemeni forces in the years building up to the war. The documents reveal, among other things, procurement of many different weapon types: aircrafts, vessels, vehicles, proposals for maritime border security control and Yemeni procurement of US biometric systems.

US presence remained in the country until February 2015 when the US closed its embassy due to the continuing unrest between different factions in the country. The war broke out a month later.

Norway’s supreme court rejects Edward Snowden extradition lawsuit

Norway’s supreme court has rejected a lawsuit from fugitive former US spy contractor Edward Snowden against the Norwegian government, upholding the verdict of two lower courts, it said on Friday. Snowden’s law firm said in April he would take the state to court to secure free passage to the Nordic country to receive a free speech award. Both the Oslo District Court and an appeals court have since dismissed the case. The Norwegian justice ministry could not be compelled to issue an advance decision on whether or not to extradite Snowden to the US if he were to come to Norway, the supreme court said. (Reuters)

I thought everyone decided a while back that wikileaks was now under control of one or more alphabet agencies.

Still my opinion :D but watching the moves they make is still key.

An action always has a cause. Seeing through the bullshit should allow one to see the reason behind release of certain info and that can give insight.

This ^^^ is why I keep an eye on msm... to see what they're up to.  Until Assange starts making some kind of public appearances again, I'm not trusting anything.

"Collapse", directed by Chris Smith, is an American documentary film exploring the theories, writings & life story of controversial author, investigative reporter, & activist, Michael C. Ruppert.

Sadly, Michael died, "by his own hand", on April 13th 2014, just outside Calistoga, California, USA. He left suicide notes addressed to his friends, none of whom (including Jack Martin who found his body) consider the circumstances suspicious in any way.

Links & Credits:

An interview with Jack describing the circumstances of Michael's death is available here;

In memory of Michael, this is intended to educate all Mankind & to spread his message of hope for humanity in a fvcked-up World.

^It's always about the oil sadly,  zero point technology would take care of all this mess had they worked with Tesla's ideas to sustain the "energy" issue. But, they can't make huge cash return's if we aren't shackled to the energy slave system. Looks as though this ride was built to be finite with the globalist system, but that's just as good as having one foot nailed to the ground.

Yep. Look at his one-time financial backers. Then bounce that list of names against those heavily invested in the White Star lines via Lloyds of London.

So what would the purpose of releasing the Yemen files be? Anyone's guess? Do you think it will be used to spread opinions to drop soldiers into the middle east more?

Might need to anyway. Think about all those int'l firefighters over in Israel right now. I'm surprised there haven't been any attacks directed at them, AFAIK.
