China Urging Global Cooperation For Internet Regulation

Recommended Posts

<SNIP>

China is hoping to cooperate with other countries in order to develop international rules and standards for the internet “in a more balanced way”, said Liu, a member of the Party’s leading Politburo Standing Committee.

“There can’t be national security for one country while there is insecurity in another. (Countries) can’t seek their own so-called “absolute security” while sacrificing the security of another country,” Liu said.

eeeyahhhhh......nope!!  big hairy assed nope!! regulate the internet just like the Chinese is what they are really saying. the only internet they have are state approved and closely monitored mash ups of face book twitter etc. its nearly impossible to get a line to the outside world,and if you get caught, in come the storm troopers. they just had riots in hong kong because the chinese were trying to force regulation down theyre throats.        http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/article/1426277/hong-kongs-internet-cafes-face-stricter-regulation-licensing-system

Add that to the alt-right censorship test and it seems that they are ramping up the timetable.

Globalists lost a major battle with Trump election. Their grip is slipping and they are getting desperate.

i think it was ted Cruz or Lindsey graham or one of the other clean shaven sudsy boyz, that said " we need a more solid internet infrastructure" (more controls) aside from being an oxy-moron, they both lost miserably in the polls during primary's this election cycle. thanks to the internet. aside from being the only avenue for freedom of speech and expression any further controls would be blatant censoring.  the nsa already knows evrything we do online, and these people want more.
