CDOT to test taxing drivers by the mile instead of at the pump Colorado

More police state tactics. By the mile, which means they're going to know everywhere you go all the time and they're trying to syphen more money out of taxpayers with this.  They will not stop demanding money until we stop giving it to them. Tell them to cut their own salaries not yours! The way this is set up, you're paying more if you use the least.

<Putting more fuel-efficient vehicles on the road is universally seen as a good thing, but those gas-sipping hybrids and electric cars crisscrossing Colorado are contributing less and less in terms of the gas tax revenues that pay for badly-needed road and bridge repairs across the state.>

Didn't Oregon talk about implementing the same thing and now Colorado. The thing that is surprising is ever since Colorado legalized marijuana they've actually had a surplus of money. So the whole BS story about them needing tax revenue is shit! This is agenda21 at its beginning. Force people from the rural areas to the cities by making fuel ridiculously expensive.
