An Ohio officer slammed a handcuffed man’s face into a police cruiser with so much force that it broke the windshield, causing the glass to shatter, newly released footage shows. Despite the violent impact, the local police chief is defending the officer.

Dash cam video obtained exclusively by NBC affiliate WKYC shows Pele Smith being escorted to the squad car while handcuffed in Lorain, Ohio.

Instead of opening the car door for Smith and placing him in the backseat, the officer escorting him throws him against the windshield so hard that the glass shatters.

dang that look like it hurt... he became dazed!

He was acting like a crazy person prior to getting slammed on to the hood into the windshield and he appears to be resisting being cuffed and searched but cops slamming you around like that even when your fully cooperative isn't that uncommon.

That all said.. Man, Right on the sweet spot, he even appears to go out for a second which I'm sure made him extra easy to cuff. As brutal as that looks though, had his chin not shattered that window  it probably would have been even worse.

But seriously though, what's up with so many black people acting like fools when they are dealing with the Police? I don't know if any of you folks have had run ins the with police but I have dealt with traffic stops, a couple of minor violations that ended in arrest when I was younger and have even been questioned a few times for no reason what so ever. Even when I think what they are doing is inappropriate I am always very polite and as cooperative as is reasonable. I understand they have guns and can kill me so I treat them with respect.  I worried and think we have even seen evidence that BLM has increased paranoia in the black community as well as the police. Despite current facts that dispute BLM's claims that blacks are more often killed by police, I think they may get their wish with their fear propaganda and black deaths at the hands of the police may start to increase.

Wrong answer.

The founding fathers knew how easy government folds into tyranny and that's why they gave us so many protections.  Do not cooperate with these people other than the "requirements" currently set in law.  The police are instruments ( a weapon) of the state.  A state that has zero legitimacy remaining.

I will be as cooperative as is reasonable. If things get out of hand and my rights get violated I have the courts to take it up in, you can point out your rights and stand by them but once you have done that the main thing is to try and keep them from feeling they need to use violence to get you to comply.  Think about if you had to subdue or kill an on duty cop, even if it was justified, what would happen. It would be far and away a last resort and you would have to expect to pay the ultimate penalty for failure.   The best place to beat an unjust police encounter is in court not in the streets.
