The Only Hope For The Republic Is Article 5!

Our Forefathers knew when they ratified the Constitution that the day might come when we had to amend their document. That is why they added Article 5.

Article V: Amendment

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

The time has come for America to call a Constitutional Convention. We need to set term limits for everyone and take the power back from DC and put it back into the hand of the people and the states.

If you don't like what's going on in Washington and want real change...get involved!

Texas Again Ponders Calling for Convention of States

With the next legislative session on the horizon, lawmakers on Tuesday began debating the notion that Texas should join a call for a convention of states to amend the U.S. Constitution, a prospect possible only if two-thirds of states sign on to the idea.

“This is not just an idea,” Andrew Oldham, deputy general counsel in Gov. Greg Abbott’s office, said before a packed room mostly filled with constitutionalist convention supporters. “It’s a movement. It’s supported by an enormous and broad grassroots campaign.”

In his book “Broken But Unbowed,” Abbott wrote that states must use powers granted to them in Article V to amend the Constitution.

A ‘Convention of States’ happened this weekend: “A turning point in history

Last week, one of the most significant events in our constitutional republic since 1787 occurred: Delegations of primarily state legislators from all 50 states gathered in Colonial Williamsburg with the intent to reign in the federal government’s abuse of power.

While the talking heads in Washington repeated the Trump vs. Clinton debates we’ve heard since this time last year, 137 delegates representing each and every state in America quietly convened in a simulation that would effectively strip Washington of its power overnight. Legally

MI Matters
MI Matters

I am the American Constitution
I just want to be free.
f*** your foreign
corporations that say,
It's not right and I can't be me.

They wish to execute me,
they think they own my soul.
Dammit,  I am the American Constitution,
and my resolve is what keeps American’s Government under control.

From CosAction.com:

The Washington Establishment’s reign is coming to an end.

Last week, representatives from all fifty states gathered in Williamsburg, Virginia for our first dry-run of a Convention of States.

A total of 137 commissioners, including 115 sitting state legislators and 22 non-legislator citizens took part in walking through the Article V process, scrutinizing it every step of the way.

They discussed, debated, and ultimately proposed six amendments--proposals that would place tangible limits on the federal government.

The event was a smashing success.

As Michael Farris, remarked, “The events at Williamsburg will be remembered as a turning point in history. The spirit of liberty and self-government has been reignited.”

In 2016 alone, Indiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Louisiana joined Georgia, Florida, Alaska, and Alabama in passing the Convention of States resolution to limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.

Our resolution has been passed by eighteen State Houses and eleven State Senates.

While the Washington Establishment is distracted by the election, a tidal wave of American citizens are rising up to restore the rule of law.

Think about all the organized propaganda being unleashed at Trump.  If the current powers-that-be convene a con-con, you won't recognize the republic the next day.
