An underground city was found in Turkey by 50-year-old Mustafa Bozdemir who was clearing out area under his house in Anatolia when he made the discovery. The region is famous for these types of discoveries. The government is now contributing to the excavation and has already put $420,000 towards the restoration. We look at the amazing subterranean discovery, in this Lip News clip with Lissette Padilla and Mark Sovel.

I would rather have seen more pictures of the structures/artifacts... and less of the gabby reporter...

just my take - it's not so interesting without visuals...

I wonder at the necessity of going underground.  Protection?  Get away from the elements (wind/sun)?  No real construction stuffs to build houses?  Interesting though.

I wonder how they lit the place,  How did they see down there?  Is their any evidence of fire,  fireplaces, torches?

Bagdad batteries

Did you know that pyramids were at one
time a wireless electrical power source,
and that Nikola Tesla's electrical wireless
tower worked on the same principle?

It was claimed that all of Egypt was lit-up in the darkness because of the gridded and wireless
electrical power of the pyramids. See below.
