You would think that folks would be more concerned with this, But there is so much other issues that are holding everyones attention, I hope someday this gets the interest it deserves as for the news story i have a few points. First point: is how is this the peak of radiation from fukushima if it is putting out a stream of radioactive water. Second point: while 10 Baq per m# is not now (allowing for raised levels) not harmful to humans if my memory is correct 50 will kill you. Third point: what 10 Baq can do to large animals is one thing what that dose to smaller ones (such as phytoplankton) is in debate not even taking bioaccumulation into effect. Final point: would anyone still keep going to work ect. if aware that a ELE was in progress, So just like in japan this is not in the news I have always worried more on the items that fall off the news than most headlines, The eco freaks should start checking on the rise in thyroid cancers and birth defects but what the heck its easier to condemn the cut in funding for the EPA
