  1. This is another example of "alternate" news dredging up an old story and tricking people into thinking it is recent news by putting today's date on it on the header. It would be easy to skip over the part where they put the date further down in the article, especially if you are posting as much as shep and I do here. As far as the woman leaving the dog in the car, she could have cracked the windows and when you go into a store to shop, you never know how long you're going to be in there, long lines, etc. Apparently the dog was in there long enough for someone to notice, call the cops and them get there before she got back to the car. 10 minutes is a stretch for all of that to happen. She got a misdemeanor ticket, big whoop. Animals and children shouldn't be left in cars while people go shop. If the date is an issue, then I can find more recent ones where the outcome for kids left inside is not nearly as benign as this.
  2. Lindsey Graham Releases Statement on Liar John McCain Late Friday Senator Lindsey Graham, John McCain’s best buddy in the US Senate, released a statement on liar John McCain. WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made these statements. “My friendship with John McCain is not based on how he votes but respect for how he’s lived his life and the person he is. “I respectfully disagree with his position not to proceed forward on Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson. I know Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson is the best chance to repeal and replace Obamacare. “Obamacare is collapsing in Arizona, South Carolina, and across the nation – driving up premiums and reducing choices. I feel an obligation to fix this disaster and intend to push forward for state-centric health care versus Washington-knows-best health care. “I’m completely convinced taking money and power out of Washington and returning it to states to administer health care is the best way to replace a collapsing Obamacare system. I’m excited about solutions we have found in Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson. We press on.” http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/09/lindsey-graham-releases-statement-liar-john-mccain/ haha! Go on and eat your own, you scum, both of ya.

  5. When they're bashing "Americans", they don't make any designation. So spare me the minutia of that. Do Canadians, Mexicans, Guatemalans or Peruvians ever refer to themselves as "Americans"? No they don't. Your argument is silly on its face. Unless you think the ones bashing Americans are also bashing the whole of the Americas. Which is it? You can't have that both ways.
  6. AFP also said 0 depth 3.4M quake in N. Korea, probably an explosion.
  7. Thousands of Balinese have evacuated their homes for temporary shelters and many more are expected to do so this weekend as the Indonesian tourist island braces for a potentially deadly eruption of the Mount Agung volcano, the first in more than half a century. Indonesia’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency last night raised the volcano alert to a maximum level four and expanded the exclusion zone around the Bali tourist site to a 12km radius after seismic activity continued to escalate late yesterday. Mount Agung, about 75 kilometres from the tourist hub of Kuta, has been rumbling since August. <snip> http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/thousands-evacuated-as-bali-volcano-sparks-fear/news-story/7a323056f5e512345575a14cf4e1f213 It's heating up all over.
  8. The New York company behind the self-proclaimed "World's Strongest Coffee" has been forced to recall thousands of cans of the cold-brew caffeine drink after warnings from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The aptly-named ‘Death Wish Coffee’ recalled all 11-ounce cans of its nitrogen-infused Nitro Cold Brew coffee after fears that the toxins responsible for the deadly illness botulism might have made it into their product line. Botulism is a rare illness which causes the body to attack its own nerve cells. <snip> https://www.rt.com/usa/404254-death-wish-coffee-recall/ I probably would have tried that coffee if I saw it at the store. lol
  9. You're preaching to the choir, but I would love to hear your solution to actually kicking them out. Do you have a plan?
  10. I only saw this with Japan. I wonder how long this continues after a quake. It's really scary looking. And shows how vulnerable we are!
  11. I have them in my family, too, but I never walked in their shoes or served in the military. Just because I know them doesn't make me know what's inside their head. And I can quote you all day long of the millions of people that other people have killed as well. It's the ones in the future that will die that I am concerned about, because it's coming and I don't want it to.
  12. No, you're not over the target when you insult individuals and have a holier than thou attitude toward people whom you've never walked in their shoes. Such as military veterans. Crit the government all you want, that's pretty much what we do here. But, people, not so much. I don't see anyone hiding here or passing blame, I see a lot of frustrated people who are sick and tired of the way things are and they want it to change.
  13. Well, then you're a lowly American just like a lot of us.
