After Kickbacks And Threats ObamaTrade Is Back For Another Vote

15 posts in this topic

The trade deal was back on track Wednesday afternoon, just a day after hitting the skids in a Democratic filibuster, after leaders struck a bipartisan agreement to move forward.

Democratic senators lost their bid to have four trade-related bills combined into a single measure, but did secure the chance to have votes related to all four bills, giving them the platform they wanted.

“Democrats want a path forward on all four,” Minority Leader Harry Reid, the top Democrat, said.

Fast-track trade authority leaves Congress without real power

Everyone agrees that trade is vital to our nation's economic vibrancy. The United States currently engages in more than $750 billion of annual trade with the nations involved in TPP. Our nation already has trade agreements with Australia, Mexico, Canada, Japan and Chile, to name just five of the participating countries.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership is not really a trade deal at all, but instead a regulatory one; a deal designed to impact every area of law and regulations that govern our nation. It is a deal that can be changed later by the president alone, impacting environmental, intellectual property and immigration laws through the stroke of a pen.

Yes, because nothing can be done without something being in it for them.  I  find it most telling that the "opposition " party helped Obama get a deal done.  That's ominous for the public.

It is scary.
Both parties are really the same and neither care for the future of America.
The NWO is now and no one but the elite benefit.

ObamaTrade Could Outlaw Seeds And Herbs, Ban GMO Labeling Forever

Despite the Global elite’s best efforts as well as Obama’s best efforts to conceal the most draconian political act in the history of mankind through the Trans-Pacific Partnership, some disturbing details are beginning to emerge as to how encompassing this totalitarian piece of legislation is going to be.

Say Goodbye to Alternative Health Care and Growing Your Own Food

As we know, the United Nation’s Agenda 21, now known as Earth First, has long attempted to wipe out the alternative health care industry through the control of Codex Alimentarius.

The United Nation’s World Health Organization is holding an implementation conference in July of 2015 as the global elite are clearly making their move to go after all alternative health care as part of the TPP. Please note that the dates of the conference coincide with the announced and “formal” beginning of Jade Helm.

The leaked documents also speak to the fact that the TPP will also control all seeds and all planting. This will allow the UN and its host governments and corporate sponsors to gain control over all food and utilize food as a weapon. There are over 30 articles which provide an analysis of leaked documents that address both the Codex Alimentarius takeover as well as the control over all food.

This is tantamount to using food as a political tool in order to enforce political compliance.

And yet there is no demonic cabal behind governments. Maybe when people are being dragged off for growing lavender my neighbors can join me in the "crazy nut job conspirator organization". Since they all grow herbs and have gardens it might just hit home. Hopefully they ban breathing soon.....

I doubt many of us really thought this was going to go away over some BS "partisan divide".

Why call it ObamaTrade? The "fast track" bill is Obama's (or should I say the lawyers pushing the pen for him) but the trade agreement is the work of 12 different countries and no doubt thousands of legal professionals. With language like this Obama becomes the scapegoat (again) for the corporations responsible for this, they deserve as much of the blame as Obama and anyone else involved.

Yes, there's plenty of blame to go around but ultimately Obama is responsible for what happens under his command as the Commander in Chief of this Nation.

Senate Passes Obama's TPP Fast-Track Trade Proposal

Two days ago there was some rejoicing and much surprise when the "Warren-faction" of Senate liberals turned against Obama, and failed to vote for a fast-track approval of the TPP. That surprise lasted for about 48 hours when moments ago, in a 65-33 vote, the Senate finally advanced a measure allowing Obama to expedite approval of trade agreements, a bill with bipartisan support in that chamber which however according to Bloomberg may run into strong opposition from House Democrats.

The elites have been whipping us citizen-slaves for some time now. Some of us know what's going on. We're called conspiracy kooks.

Agenda 21 will fall into place because the vast hordes of sheeple are pre-occupied with tv, sports, and the soon-to-disappear soft life.

The Illuminati-Rothschild-Rockefeller-Zionists are far worse than psychos.

Zionists are not Jews, by the way.

The 10 biggest lies you’ve been told about the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Today, the Senate makes a critical test vote on the Obama Administration’s trade agenda, kicking off a process that the White House hopes to end with the signing of an agreement between 12 nations called the Trans-Pacific Partnership. In preparation for this vote, President Obama has been deliberately antagonizing his critics, mostly liberal Democrats. Senator Elizabeth Warren is “a politician, like everybody else,” Obama said Friday to Yahoo News, who has “got a voice that she wants to get out there,” framing her concerns as insincere self-aggrandizement. Those concerns, Obama added, are “absolutely wrong.”

This is not the first time that Obama and his aides have depicted opposition on trade as deliberate misinformation designed to stir up a left-leaning political base, or generate campaign contributions; my favorite is the claim that Warren is merely trying to energize a non-existent Presidential campaign.

It’s beneath the dignity of the Presidency to so aggressively paint opponents as not just wrong on the facts, but hiding the truth on purpose. Warren has responded without using the same indecorous tactics. Unfortunately, I don’t have the same self-control. So by way of response, here are ten moments where the President or his subordinates have lied – call it “misled” or “offered half-truths” or whatever; but I’m in an ornery mood so let’s just say lied – about his trade agenda:

More than 1,000 plaintiffs file lawsuit to keep Japan out of TPP

More than 1,000 people filed a lawsuit against the government on Friday, seeking to halt Japan’s involvement in 12-country talks on a Pacific Rim free trade agreement, which they called “unconstitutional.”

A total of 1,063 plaintiffs, including lawmakers, claimed in the case brought to the Tokyo District Court that the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership would undermine their basic human rights under the Constitution.

The lawsuit is led by Masahiko Yamada, 73, a lawyer who served as agriculture minister in 2010 as part of the Democratic Party of Japan government.

“The TPP could violate the Japanese right to get stable food supply, or the right to live, guaranteed by Article 25 of the nation’s Constitution,” Yamada, who abandoned his party in 2012 over then-Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda’s push to join the TPP talks, said Thursday before the court filing.

The envisaged pact would benefit big corporations but would jeopardize the country’s food safety and medical systems, and destroy the domestic farm sector, according to the plaintiffs.

The litigation is another twist in efforts by Japan and the U.S., the top economies involved in the TPP, to expedite talks on the agreement that would cover about 40 percent of the world’s commerce.

An accord would deepen Japan’s dependence on farm imports and threaten its food security, Yamada said. Japan, which relies on imports for about 60 percent of its food needs, has cut its self-sufficiency target as the government expands trade deals.

An official at the Cabinet Office’s TPP task force declined to comment on the lawsuit.
