Information is plentiful these days.  The problem is what to believe.  Whatever you are inclined to believe,  I  guarantee there is a source to back it up with research and statistics.

That's a great link however,  it's my kind of news.

This is the challenge !

People just need to go a little deeper in research on any topic and it will prove to be worth while, but it may take some time to find a conclusion that one is inclined to believe  . Some people say they have seen little green men; I have never seen one ! So I will continue my search for little green men until I see one .

I have said this many times .

It’s a sad state of affairs when humans have no choice but to seek information from the gray area either side of the line between fiction and non-fiction, because once-legitimate sources of information such as mainstream news have become so perverted that they are no longer relevant to human society . However, like it or not, that is the world we all currently live in .

Let the journey continue

That's the other thing, do people really want "news"? Seems to me,  what they really want is validation of their own opinion.  There's no real debate or discourse on anything.  People,  on both sides of an issue make up their minds, and if someone else disagrees,  the name calling starts.

Liberal,  conservative,  socialist,  neocon, etc are a few examples of it. I see people throw these labels around and they have no clue what they mean.  If a "news source" doesn't slant the news towards a  specific target audience that they happen to agree with,  well then,  their obviously liberal or fascist or conservative,  etc ad nauseum.

"News" is about the dollar these days and it's nothing new either.  In the days when my grandfather read the paper every day, when he finished,  he'd fold it up, throw it in a pile and say "what did I expect for abquarter? The truth?"

Not much profit in the truth.  Ask Jesus Christ, Mahatma Ghandi, OR Martin Luther King Jr.
