Pols want to make citizenship irrelevant — showing disrespect for the American dream

19 posts in this topic

New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito has long refused to pledge even ceremonial allegiance to the American flag. No surprise, then, that she displays no respect for American citizenship, either.

Mark-Viverito wants to grant voting rights to non-citizens — including, perhaps, illegal immigrants — in all municipal elections. And she’s not alone.

Meanwhile, New York state’s newly minted Education commissioner, MaryEllen Elia, champions licensing illegal immigrants to teach in New York’s public schools, as well as to practice 52 other regulated professions. Not that her views really matter, of course. The state Board of Regents just approved the change. (It’s a going-away present from Chancellor Merryl Tisch, soon to depart after seven years as felonious former Assembly speaker Shelly Silver’s hand-picked education czar.)

The way i see it is that if they refuse to pledge allegiance to the american flag they should not be getting these positions to run the country as it just shows the disrespect they have for america and its people.

refuse to pledge allegiance to the american flag . I wounder if they really understand their loss and now obligation to a corporate venue .

they should not be getting these positions to run the country . True and I agree ! But money talks and is held in a higher value than freedom and We The people .

This is so right in most of it . But then I disagree with a pledge allegiance to the now so called American flag a symbol of a republic ; the question is what republic ?; the American Constitution or the corporate one ? Most all these people that are in positions of authority all have titles of nobility " A title of nobility = a bar association " ; lawyers and such; Once granted a title of nobility silently from public view their allegiance to the Constitution is stripped away . They have no obligation to the American Constitution or it's sovereignty or people . Most all Constitutional People " Members of the American Constitutional Republic " have been blinded to some realities that the American Governments from Washington DC to City governments are under the authority of British rule . This American flag that has a gold border is representing British rule under Maritime and Admiralty laws / Military courts . Most all these people with in these authoritarian positions work for the corporation and many don't even understand that their position is a membership and a obligation to it .  This is way we can't win agents them with out a Constitutional judge = a judge with out a bar association and now days is a vary rare find .

Corporation In a state's venue = Maritime and Admiralty law and in Military courts .

The American flag with out the gold banner is a symbol of the United Nations adopted military industrial complex in 1945 . Has been used for a symbol of peace and the American corporate ideals only .

The American flag with the gold banner is a symbol of British rule . Maritime and Admiralty law .

As this rabbit hole goes deeper into the matrix it gets more complicated !

The American flag with and without the gold banner has been a symbol of many things but never has it really been the symbol of the American people as a Constitutional republic .

Here is a interesting read it touches on the differences between a Constitutional Republic and a Democracy and now what he calls a mobocracy .

My back ground is in Maritime and Admiralty law and I have given thought to taking some time and write a thread as I have done in the past . I just would hope that I don't get the threats that I got then . This is way I don't touch on the subject much anymore . I know what it feels like to have to look under my truck before getting in it and to having a gun to my head . Today on the WWW there is a lot of info on these subjects . I may get away with it now . Just a added note : I never have had a bar association I stopped just short of it because of the corruptions of it and I didn't need it for my job at the time . I have no blood on my hands and no title of nobility ! Woot Woot . I didn't want to be a part of their club anyway . And still to this day I wont join any club both political or religious . To me it's all BS .

Everybody gets to vote now. I have a friend who lives in Canada,  married an American, got her citizenship lived in the USA for 3 months, moved to back to Canada, and voted for Obama TWICE even though she has not lived in the US for the past 20 years. Go figure...

Never Resided in the U.S.?

In some States, U.S. citizens, 18 years or older, who were born abroad but have never resided in the United States, are eligible to vote absentee. The following States allow these citizens to vote absentee:

I NEVER pledge allegiance to anything but God and liberty.  Swearing allegiance to an evil government is wrong.  Jesus taught, "Swear not ..."  Tolstoy said that meant to hold no allegiance to earthly organizations.  I think he was right.

There is nothing "unholy" about showing patriotism. The underlying message is to shame those that would be proud of the United States.

There is an attack on patriotism on the west coast as well. City councilmember Kshama Sawant (a known socialist) has used her elected office to promote an anti American dialogue and agenda.

Socialist like Kshama would have been singled out as being traitorous but today, seems like the norm in larger American cities.

As imported bloodlines dilute the melting pot to their unbridled and unambiguous goal of the destruction of this great nation, people will lose hope.

"Where there is no hope, people perish".

I do give respect to my country, not its government. I really don't know what allegiance means. Liberty is a relative term, like freedom. I want both, but I understand there are limits that must be placed on selfish and irresponsible scoundrels.

We are on the brink of a one world government. Elections will be conducted through mob rule, voters being reduced to the Georgia Guidestone number of ?? 500 million?

If the US lasts another year in a recognizable form, I will be much surprised.

I believe Jesus attacked patriotism because patriotism has enabled almost every war for millennia.  Patriotism entails the removal of individuality and the false notion that the atrocious sins of mass murder are only on the heads of the leaders.  Remove patriotism and what would you have?  Would society fall apart?  Would people no longer care for one another?  No, patriotism is an evil but one that has been programmed in masses from birth and supported by nearly all pseudo-Christian religions.

And who programmed you with that notion?

You're not American and you wouldn't understand.

Just don't condemn people who happen to love their country. I can understand why people in other countries hate their own.

Besides, Jesus didn't really care about Rome and had he shown a little patriotism, Pontius Pilate may have been easier on him.

Oh wait, Pilate did go easy on him and the mob rule released a thug instead.

Sound familiar?

You have to admit that "patriotism" is programmed into all children from all countries - shouldn't that tell you something?  Loving America and its people is not the same as loving and pledging allegiance to its government.  I am an American but not a flag-waving American who abandons reason and individuality when the old Stars and Stripes are unfurled for the crowd.  I was raised like you to get all teary eyed for the flag and even earned my Eagle Scout award.  I only discovered the truth in my later years when I began reading Tolstoy's Christian works and couldn't doubt the truth of it.  Is that what you call programming?
