Video Emergency – Peter Schiff: Financial Armageddon Is Utterly Inevitable

5 posts in this topic

For anyone who has followed my writing for the last four years, I have written extensively about a looming financial tsunami that is going to hit the global economic system, and I’ve been saying its going to hit America particularly harder than virtually any other nation on the planet, mainly because we’re going to lose our World Reserve Currency Status. Since I’ve covered the effects of that loss ad nauseam already, now isn’t the time. In the past, I have often said we should expect the crash to be one of “biblical” proportions, because it will be THAT bad!

Prior to 2014, I was often laughed at for saying that the U.S. could easily devolve into a “Mad Max, Every Man For Himself” type scenario, because that is precisely how bad I knew things could get. I even specifically Laid Out My Economic Predictions in 2013 – Here They Are In Writing. At the time, Peter Schiff had WAY more faith in government officials than I did, and he still thought the country had hope. Had we ever met, and had I ever shared my forecast with him, Peter would have laughed me out of the country.

Of course it's coming. Like a locomotive.

But it's not as important as Marco's big ears or Donald's little hands. Or who will give us free college tuition. Let's send more of our kids to bleed in Syria, while young Syrian men are shipped to Europe. It's the patriotic thing to do.

My family refuses to see the writing on the wall. Shucks, the casinos are open, baseball is about to start, Burger King has a new sandwich. It's all good, la la la :cheer:

Wouldn't that put the US on an equal footing with the rest of the world that does not have reserve currency status? It isn't that you have the most to lose, it's that you don't any longer have the most to gain. The US squandered it's privilege. In debt, credit default swaps, CDOs, debt bubbles and derivatives. Privatize profits and socialize loses.

Hoard cash.

Yes I think it'd the only thing left to do, keep the cash to buy everything you need, don't wait though start accumulating everything you need to get through.
