Fox Business Network hosts the first presidential debate of 2016 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in North Charleston, South Carolina at 6:00 PM & 9:00 PM ET

The participants qualifying for the prime-time, 9 p.m. ET debate are: Billionaire businessman Donald Trump; Texas Sen. Ted Cruz; Florida Sen. Marco Rubio; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

The participants qualifying for the earlier, 6 p.m. ET debate are: Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul; former HP CEO Carly Fiorina; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee; and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

The lineup was decided based on the results of national, New Hampshire and Iowa polling. To qualify for the prime-time debate, a candidate had to place in the top six in an average of recent national polls, or in the top five in an average of recent Iowa or New Hampshire polls. ?

The debate comes as front-runner Trump faces a rising challenge from Cruz, particularly in the caucus state of Iowa where the two are effectively tied for the lead.

The changing dynamic has fueled new tensions in the race, with Trump now openly questioning whether Cruz’ Canadian birth complicates his eligibility to run.

Didn't Trump suggest Cruz would be a good running mate? Cruz will never be prez, he'd be wise to stfu and accept.

I think he did. But now there's an issue with Cruz's citizenship and Trump is telling him to address it because the Dems will go nuts with that. Irony. We have Obama in office and people are worried about Cruz's citizenship.

Trump... says these refugees, mostly healthy young men, are a Trojan Horse, which I agree with, but never mentions stopping the bombing of these MENA countries as a solution.

OMG..I dont even know what to say about that video..

Man Behind Trump Theme Song Has Read Every One of Donald Trump’s Books

Last night's rally for Donald Trump in Pensacola, Florida, was no ordinary rally — it featured a special musical performance by a group called the USA Freedom Kids. Three members of the group, Bianca, Izzy, and Alexis, sang, danced, and synchronized-gestured their way through an original song complete with Trump-themed lyrics such as "Cowardice, are you serious?" "Apologies for freedom — I can't handle this!" "President Donald Trump knows how to make America great," and "Deal from strength or get crushed every time."

One might mistake these lines for something off Trump's Twitter account, but they were written by Jeff Popick, a Florida-based entrepreneur and the manager of USA Freedom Kids. (His daughter, Alexis, is front and center in the video.) "That line was originally going to be about General George Patton," Popick says. "But when Donald Trump announced his candidacy, I was inspired to change it to something more contemporary."
