North Korea says South's propaganda broadcasts taking it to 'brink of war'

14 posts in this topic

A senior North Korea party official warned of war in a speech on Saturday as South Korea continued blasting anti-Pyongyang propaganda across the border in retaliation for the North’s fourth nuclear test. Speaking to a massive crowd at Pyongyang’s Kim Il-sung Square, a top ruling party official said the broadcasts – along with talks between Washington and Seoul on the possibility of deploying nuclear bombers in the South – have pushed the Korean Peninsula “toward the brink of war”.

I don't understand why South Korea would do that. What is in it for them, all they are doing is causing antagonism which breeds further antagonism. Is South Korea still covertly controlled by the US administration?

Is it on the US request they are doing this?

A former LOP poster known as "The Ghost of David Carradine" lived in South Korea for a few years as a school teacher. He told us South Korean leadership was pretty bad and corrupt. Said he couldn't tell us until after he left as otherwise he would have been imprisoned for speaking out against the regime. He was a US citizen.

Better to get our intel from people we know on the ground than propaganda MSM corporations as it is generally more accurate. Their task is to con us into believing what their masters/employers want us to believe after all.

I have posted previous real information about what it is like in N Korea here before. If the world found out it might sink a lot of MSM who would be caught out in blatant propaganda and people might ask more questions of them. One of my brother's school friends lives in N Korea 11 months of the year. I trust his information over any propaganda source.

Someone important should go over to NK and be like, "no one cares. No one cares you have nukes. No one cares you treat your people like shit. No one cares you could wipe South Korea off the map. No one cares. Shut up. Stop acting like an ass. And hey, just for a change of pace, invest a lil more in "food" and a lil less in "bomb". The Superpowers have everything wiped off the map liek 14 times over or some bullshit number. And no one cares. So why the f*** do you think we'd, and that literally means everyone else on the planet, gives a f*** about your gay lil H bomb. Talk about 1940s e.e GTFO"

And if he tried anything, just let the Chinese hack his facebook or whatever and shut the missles down. Not like we don't have an emp already positioned incase that crazy asshole tries something. Sure, we can literally track every soul on the planet, even use a comp to determn not only what they will do, but generations ahead all in a matter of minutes, but we never thought of some crazy ******* launching a nuke at us. Murica!

It's like I say about Bush Jr., he's either a genius or a fool, but he can't be both. He can't both be the mastermind of 9/11 and the guy that was like, "Wow, Brazil is big!".

They knew all along about this test..

Did U.S., Japan Know of N.Korean Nuke Test in Advance?

Both Washington and Tokyo were aware of North Korea's preparations for a fourth nuclear test, according to press reports, although they were officially pretending to be shocked and surprised.

Seoul too has officially claimed to have had no idea that the North's nuclear test preparations were this far advanced. The official line here, at any rate, is that North Korea caught everyone off guard.

But the U.S. not only knew, as most pundits did, that the North had dug a new nuclear test tunnel, but "was aware of test preparation for two weeks and launched drones to get a baseline air sample near the site," according to an unnamed official quoted by NBC News.

Good idea..lets go poke the North a bit more. Maybe we can get them to lob a nuke at Guam or Japan and start WWIII

The United States' B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber flew in the skies of South Korea on Sunday in a major show of force four days after North Korea conducted what it said was its first hydrogen bomb test.

The B-52 bomber left U.S. Andersen Air Force Base in Guam on Sunday morning and arrived in the skies above Osan, Gyeonggi Province, at noon, armed with nuclear missiles and "bunker buster" bombs that are capable of bombarding North Korea's underground facilities, according to Seoul and Washington.

The bomber flew low past the Osan air base, flanked by an entourage of two South Korean F-15Ks and two U.S. F-16s before returning to its home base, the two sides' militaries said.

Air Force deploying F-16s to Guam

Guam can expect increased military presence over the next couple of weeks. According to the Pacific Air Forces website more than 200 airmen from Ohio will be deploying to Andersen Air Force Base in mid-January. The airmen are from the 112th Fighter Squadron based out of the Toledo Air National Guard Base and are being deployed to AAFB as part of the U.S. Pacific Command Theater Security Package.
