Ontarians Urged To "Voluntarily" Pay More Taxes To Cut Province's Debt

15 posts in this topic

On top of paying among the highest taxes in North America, and coping with skyrocketing hydro prices — hikes directly caused by the decisions made by this Liberal administration and the previous one — the Wynne government wants more.

So they steal hard earned money from the peasants, spend it foolishly and have the audacity to ask for more??

Pitchforks, people!!

We hope Matthews accomplishes the task she’s been given, since it will be key to delivering (premier) Wynne’s promise to eliminate Ontario’s current $12.5 billion deficit by 2017-2018.

The problem is Matthews appeared to be locked in the bathroom for most of the Ornge air ambulance scandal as hundreds of millions of tax dollars were wasted — prompting an ongoing OPP investigation. In addition, up to 12 deaths have been linked to Ornge.

14 million people and all that debt. wth!? The article said 1 dollar of every ten goes to interest. The bankers are laughing all the way home with that one. Ah, now I know what pitchforks and torches are meant for.

People will get a rude awakening.  The only question is how swiftly will they take matters into their own hands.

If they collected 100% taxes, it wouldn't even pay off the interest of the debt, much less the debt alone.
