Sessions: Omnibus Explains Why ‘Voters Are In Open Rebellion’

Published on Dec 16, 2015

BACKGROUND:

In the dead of night after 2am this morning, Congressional leadership unveiled a more than 2,000 page 'omnibus' year-end funding bill which would, among other things: fully-fund the President's refugee expansion; fully-fund sanctuary cities; fully-fund the resettlement of illegal aliens youth and their families crossing the border; lock-in tax credits for illegal aliens; and quadruple the highly controversial H-2B foreign worker visa being used to replace Americans as truck drivers, construction workers, theme park employees, and in blue collar jobs across the nation.

Sessions, the Chairman of the Immigration Subcommittee, issued a statement about the bill as it speeds to a vote before it can be read, observing in part that GOP voters: "have come to believe that their party’s elites are not only uninterested in defending their interests but – as with this legislation, and fast-tracking the President’s international trade pact – openly hostile to them." On the floor today, Sessions further reminded his colleagues that their duty is the American people - not special interests, immigration advocacy groups, or lobbyists for narrow business concerns.

Sessions observed that - as the omnibus paves the way for a huge immigration increase beyond today's record-breaking highs - that more than 8 in 10 American voters want the level of immigration in American frozen or cut, and yet the GOP-led Congress is about to surge it even higher.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau - even without these increases - immigration will add the population equivalent of 1 new Los Angeles to the country each 3 years.

The U.S. has admitted 59 million immigrants since 1965. As historical context, after the numerically-smaller 1880-1920 immigration wave, future immigration was reduced to promote wage growth for US-born and immigrant workers: there was zero net growth in the foreign-born population over the course of the next half-century (in fact, it declined markedly). Now, after five decades of unprecedented immigration, the U.S. is on path to add another five decades of unprecedented immigration on top of that - setting new all-time records every single decade to come.

Hey look! Another shitty Christmas present from Congress.

What if what was right was done time:

First, I'm pro-refugee. I am. Now giving them permentate residence, that's a process. One I'm not against, but respect.

That said, if I was a mexican, going through all the steps I was asked to to get that green card, and then I heard 170000 terrorists are getting a free pass, I would flip off the democratic party, perminately.

I know, both parties are show and a-holes, but atleast Bush let the process do what it does. Tell me you're on a list 5 years deep, workin your ass off in a hot field just to have a chance, not assurance, a chance to live in this great nation, USA, and then you hear ISIS agents are getting a free pass?

We wanted the best, but BO cocked blocked em for the worst.

That said, this guy takes it to freemongering. He makes it sound like all are evil and everything is a fail. This isn't true. This throw out the baby with the bathwater style politics is as reactionary, as extreme, as the "enemy" we face (ISIS).

Find some common sense balance in the Force, friends, it's really not that hard.

There are a whole lot of people who are sitting in the process 10 years now and are trying to get in legally before entering the country. They are the ones we should be concerned about, not border jumpers. Border jumpers should be deported, just like their home countries would do to us if we jumped their border. The U.S. is the only country STUPID enough to handle their immigration issues this way, unless you wanna count Europe and their refugee crisis. Look at what their kind hearts have gotten them and you will see what ours will get for us. Groups of people who are here to make money when it comes to the Mexicans. That is IT. They are not here b/c they have any loyalty or respect for the U.S. or wanting to be here, they are here for a paycheck and the sooner we all admit that is all they are here for, the better off we will be. This is why wages suck. And why there are no jobs, even in positions that require licenses. This here for a better life is getting thinner and thinner while our culture, economy and way of life are being destroyed.

Send them all back and don't let anymore in. I'm sick of it!

BTW, there was a Central American chick standing by the road with a baby asking people for a handout. I asked her why she didn't apply for welfare. She yelled at me: LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH. I'm glad I didn't give her that 10 dollar bill that is still in my pocket before she said that to me.

Yeah I loves me some illegals!

You're mistaken. o.o; I know for a fact there are plunty of "border jumpers" not here for just the money (sure, ithelps, you work where the work pays. That's common sense), i've literally met, lived with, aided, and etc. of those that snuck in. THey did. Cheat to win. Eddie! But once here, went on path to citizenship, asap. Not because they had to. They could've just earned and dunked, but they chose to be part of this nation. This is problem. We assume all immigrants are these job stealing criminals, and it's not even close to truth. Do evil men use good means to created evil? You bet ya! To deny those that need what this nation promises just because of those that would create fear, is giving into terrorism, and weither it  be the MSM, Infowars, or another soul, I don't bow to terrorism. Because i know fear leads to hate. Hate leads to anger, and Anger leads to suffering.

As a master of rage, let me tell ya, that anger ain't gonna solve anything, but it sure will f*** something up.

I'm sick of them and what they do. I've seen way more than my share of their crap.

You can be "pro refugee" - the problem here is that the Majority of these people aren't even FROM Syria, or threatened BY that conflict! There are hordes of people from such places as Morocco, other non-war-ravaged places! Up to 80 % even!

Excellent point, BH. Yeah, I don't want to come off as "bring em in even at the expense of any and all", but I do want to help those that need help. That's just how I roll. I agree with you and Cin though, on the matter that we should be knowledgable about who we aid. Not comforting the enemy and setting them up, and I agree, that feels like what's happening right now. That one shooting pretty much coffin nailed it. So bring over those in need, but yeah, those leftist always ***** about background checks, let's put that system to a good use and make sure we're not shipping in assholes, but like, Down Syndrom kid, we'll hurry him over. Guy that seems to spend alot of time in terrorist training camps, well, let's have him stop at Gitmo, first.

"Refugee" used to mean someone seeking refuge from a storm, war, other doom.

Now it means anyone who hauls ass to YOUR refuge for the easy life. We are in the process of absorbing all the incompetent people in the world. The best and the brightest stay home to try to fix their hellhole countries. The rest get free passage to Europe and US. Why can't the Chinese take them? Arabia? Brazil, etc.?

NWO elites look like they want all Africans out of Africa so they can make it their refuge.

As usual, what are we looking at? False flags every 2 to 3 weeks, police killing perps in big cities, the usual shiny objects.

Tax and Spending Deal: A Lose-Lose for the American People

With a deadline looming, congressional leaders unveiled "sweeping" tax and spending legislation late last night. The result makes one wonder whether congressional Republicans negotiate directly with President Obama on these deals, or whether they just send corporate lobbyists‎ to do so, thereby cutting out the middle man.

The Wall Street Journal reports, "The agreement…is expected to suspend for two years a tax on medical devices and delay for two years the scheduled 2018 start of the so-called Cadillac tax on high-cost employer health plans." Each of these "fixes" to Obamacare will make deep-pocketed groups that much less interested in full repeal in 2017, while the suspension of the Cadillac tax will also make it that much harder to pass the conservative alternative needed to make full repeal a reality. The delay of that tax is also a big win for labor unions.

But that's just the beginning.

Sure, bring 'em in at the same time jobs are STILL going overseas. No one would be concerned about immigration (illegal or not) if we were so busy manufacturing the latest and greatest that we couldn't fill all the job openings. Anyone that is still gainfully employed (the disappearing middle class) are under constant threat of layoffs so bringing in more people is the antithesis of a booming economy. There is nothing for them to do except further burden social welfare programs. They aren't coming here to create jobs!

Every time congress passes a new bill (especially in December) you know that average Joe is getting screwed AGAIN.

This makes me feel sick.
We're swirling down the drain so fast now.
I don't what to say. The time for talk is coming to an end.
