900 Undocumented Teens Headed to Dallas

Here they come...Mostly teenage boys!  Don't worry, there are no terrorists in this group of boys. Sure, and the South won the Civil war too.

900 Undocumented Teen Arriving in North Texas!

Hundreds of undocumented teens are headed to North Texas this week, brought in by federal officials. But the move is raising security concerns among law enforcement agencies in both Ellis County and Rockwall County, where the teens will be arriving.

The immigrants are coming from Central American countries like El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. They are all between the ages of 12 and 18. Approximately two-thirds of them are boys.

Officials in North Texas were not told about the arrivals until late Wednesday night. “We didn’t solicit this. We didn’t agree to it,” said Precinct 3 Comissioner Paul D. Perry. “We were given very little foreknowledge that this would happen. I think this is another example of a failed immigration and border enforcement policy, coming down and affecting local government and the citizens of this county, potentially.”

Recently, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Health and Human Services have noted an increase in the number of people trying to cross the border illegally — especially families with children.

The Lakeview Camp and Conference Center of the Assemblies of God is one of two North Texas campgrounds where the teens will be temporarily housed. Ellis County Sheriff Johnny Brown expects 500 minors to be placed there. They were originally set to arrive on Thursday, but officials will now instead spend the day preparing for their impending arrival later this week.

Many of the children are fleeing violence in their home countries. They were captured in the Rio Grande Valley trying to enter the U.S. illegally.

Officials say the children, mostly from Central America will be housed at Sabine Creek Ranch for up to 21 days.

The 330 acre working cattle ranch is located about 30 miles east of downtown Dallas. Retreats for both adults and teenagers are often held there. It has cabins that can house up to 315 people.

Eddie Walker is the Founder and Director of Sabine Creek Ranch. He said he got little advance notice from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, but that they are prepared to help if necessary. He said details are still being finalized.

Notice how they waited until the last moment to tell Texas they were sending them.

They'll all be given refugee status and put on government benefits for life.

Obama Approves Plan to Let Children in Central America Apply for Refugee Status

SEPT. 30, 2014

President Obama has approved a plan to allow several thousand young children from Central American countries to apply for refugee status in the United States, providing a legal path for some of them to join family members already living in America, White House officials said Tuesday.
-----
Under American law, refugees are people fleeing their country of origin based on fears of persecution by reason of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. The only category that would seem to apply to the children, experts have said, is the “social group” classification — in short, that the children could be considered a vulnerable group endangered by crime and violence in their countries.

No worries...everything is under control! I've heard that before!

Ellis County Sheriff Johnny Brown Thursday hurried to reassure residents that the situation is under control and there is nothing to fear.

“This will become a miniature city for the next 21 days,” said Sheriff Brown at a morning briefing for reporters, “they have fire control, EMS, everything.” Nevertheless, the Sheriff is insisting that a contingent of local officers—working off-duty—will provide 24/7 security for the camp perimeter.

“Do I feel that somebody could say ‘hey, I’m this close to the Metroplex that I could fall out of sight’…yeah, I have that concern. That’s why I want to make sure we have the security for the outer perimeters,” says Sheriff Brown.

Democrats Attempt to Push Through Bill for Unlimited Immigration from Everywhere

Under the pretense of needing to stop the evil Donald’s evil plot to ban terrorists from America, the Democrats are attempting to push through legislation that would allow unlimited immigration from anywhere.

This is typical of the way the modern legislative branch works – they take some hyped media event, then create a bill which includes the issue at hand, but also includes a whole bunch of other stuff.

They also attach this stuff to completely unrelated bills – this one is being attached to a bill about nuclear safety.

Why do we allow our government to function this way?

Washington Free Beacon:

Congress is set to vote on Thursday on what some have called an “unprecedented” right that would allow immigrants easier access to relocate to the United States, according to new legislation offered by a Democratic senator.

The legislation, which is being offered by Sen. Patrick Leahy (D., Vt.) as an amendment to a larger bill governing nuclear safety, would prohibit the U.S. government from barring any individual from entering the country based on their religion.

What shall we call Americans that are endangered by crime and violence in their own country?
