Needed: Domestic Disarmament, Not 'Gun Control'

Look at what this Numbnut, Amitai Etzioni writes. - These guys are getting Brave coming out and saying this type of stuff.

The NY Times with their recent anti-gun article has emboldened the other media to raise their ugly heads and spew more trash exposing themselves as haters of freedom.
Amitai Etzioni has done a good job exposing himself as anti-American in his latest toilet paper trash of an article here

Needed: Domestic Disarmament, Not 'Gun Control'

Advocates of gun control frequently cite the much lower levels of gun violence in other developed nations -- such as Canada and the UK -- in support of the measures they promote. However, these very low levels of gun violence have not been achieved by gun control but -- by domestic disarmament.

"Make the gun manufacturers liable for harm done with their products. Ban the sale of ammunition. And vote for a president that will add to the Supreme Court those who will read the Second Amendment as written."

Most people have no guns in these fully democratic nations and have no way of getting them, legally or otherwise. It is hence at best naïve, sometimes disingenuous, to imply that if several gun control measure would be enacted -- and somehow enforced -- the U.S. would gain what these other nations take for granted. (By the way, Black Lives Matters may wish to take note: In these blessed nations most cops, most of the time, have no guns either.)

There's a false sense of security today in the modern world. In the past, people wore guns and knives as protection against what they might encounter in the wild as well as for hunting game. The endless wars rage on and now we realize the greatest threat against our person are other "humans" that continue to breed the evil madness into society. As long as these "humans" are allowed to roam free and wreak havoc there will never be peace but the populace has to wake up to the fact that we are not the same....genetically, environmentally or spiritually. The lower IQ people are easily brainwashed, as we've seen with the influence of Edward Bernays and Sigmund Freud in recent history. Before that it was The Church that conveyed the most influence in league with the monarchy.

What does the post apocalyptic world look like? The remaining humans are armed with guns and knives, fighting brain dead "zombies." This is what we are up against TODAY (while they pretend everything is normal) which is why open carry should be de rigueur.

Very well put! And it's funny that you bring this point up because just a the other night I was watching the good, the bad ,and the ugly and thought in an apocalyptic scenario we as a society might be back to those times 1840-50s. And how on one hand I really like certain aspects of modern society like showers and toilets? but on the other hand everyone was truly free. Things like surveillance from cell phones and cable boxes were non existent. Hell they probably had allodial titles so you actually owned your land back then. But I guess we'll see what the future holds. I know one thing it's gonna be bad whatever happens because there's a majority of zombies and a minority of people like the ones who frequent this forum!
