Donald Trump: You will hear ‘Merry Christmas’ if I’m elected

2 posts in this topic

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Friday people can bank on a return of the phrase “Merry Christmas” if he’s elected to the White House.

“The progressives are pushing to an extent that if we’re not careful, we’re [going to] have some big problems and even bigger than we have right now,” Mr. Trump said. “Look, we need people that can support us. We need people that are strong and smart and can back us.”

Mr. Trump was addressing a crowd of social conservatives at the 2015 Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C.

“The word Christmas: I love Christmas,” he said. “I love Christmas. You go to stores now, you don’t see the word Christmas. It says, ‘Happy holidays’ all over. I say, ‘Where’s Christmas?’ I tell my wife, ‘Don’t go to those stores.’ “

I'm doing Christmas this year because it's going to be the last normal one. I hate how it's become so commercial with tons of excess Chinese Crap so I usually make gifts. If I buy any gifts they are wonderful gently used vintage from the former manufacturing giant known as the USA. Christmas is festive, with or without religion.

Go Donald!
