China Ends One Child Policy

10 posts in this topic

Maybe this is why China has been building ghost cities. They are getting ready for a population explosion.

China ends one-child policy in long-awaited move

In a much-awaited and some say long overdue move, China has ended its controversial one-child policy that has been blamed for a host of demographic woes such as declining birthrates, gender imbalance and shrinking workforce, and ageing population.

All Chinese couples will be able to have two children, reported the Xinhua state agency in an announcement on Thursday (Oct 29) at the end of a closed-door meeting by top Chinese officials in Beijing.

The one-child policy was introduced in 1979 to help boost economic growth in China’s early years of reform and opening up. But it has been often blamed for abuses such as forced abortions and sterilisations.

Also, population experts say the abolishment might be too late, given how an earlier liberalisation of the policy in December 2013 had produced disappointing results.

Previously only couples who were both single child or those from rural households and ethnic minority groups were exempted.

This is bad all around. How the hell are they going to feed themselves? Do they have plenty of farmland? They are screwed if they are relying on imported food.

Also - If things go south, I wouldn't be surprised of stories of cannibalism going around, people disappearing.  :damned:

A two child policy makes more sense than having 19 and being on reality TV.

You just gave me an idea. Maybe we should adopt that 2 child policy for all the refugees and illegal's flooding into the US.

If you are in the USA legally, have as many children as you can afford. Otherwise you are on a 2 kid limit.  That policy will certainly make a lot of people angry but It's worth discussing.

If you are from another country and have 3 or more kids, you either have to stay in your homeland or find a country that is looking to grow their population. We are struggling to take care of our own, so why not limit the number of kids a "refugee" can enter the country with?

We could make a child exemption available for people with more than 2 kids. The catch is, they have to prove they have the financial resources to support more than 2 children and will not become a burden on our country.

Even the airlines only allow 2 suitcases. If you want to bring more luggage you have to pay for excess baggage. (LOL)

I've always believed that the ghost cities were meant to be inhabited by Chinese. They're already buying lots of land here as well as businesses. We are considered a conquered people who will be displaced and enslaved.

I once got told a story 3-4 years back. About why the ghost cities were actually built! They are for beings that will be trapped within our dimension. Im not kidding. Apparently soon the experiments they are doing in another dimension will cause a shift for the organic matter in the realm they inhabit. We tried telling them to stop. But could not communicate.

This might also be confirmed with all the cities in fog sightings.

But who knows what is true. it is after all a story.

The Chinese bought the biggest pork producer in the U.S. just recently. Oh, now that was a smart move on our govts. part allowing them to get a foot hold in the food supply. sarc

The Chinese have been buying the world for a long time, rare earth minerals, gold, oil contracts. They use money and brains where the U.S. uses brute force. Who's winning?  (same as Russia)

Refugees don't follow our rules, and they can't take care of any kids that they have, that's why they are refugees.  Have as many kids as you want, but when you can't afford them, hand them over to Planned Parenthood.  They'll not only do the abortion, they'll make money doing it, by harvesting body parts.  Hmmm... if Planned Parenthood weren't so federally funded, it would die off too...

Gee...what's the difference between China's one child policy and India's one child policy?  One was implemented before the other...who gives a shit?  Now China has gotten rid of the one child policy in favor of two child policy.  China is now moving up in the world.  Is India going to do that now?  Maybe they should try that in Africa, but Africa is just a place for the elites to populate and depopulate at will, and conduct experiments on.
