Flat Earth Proofs - 222+ Arguments to Ponder (Easier Viewing)

72 posts in this topic

Got a few hours to kill?  How about spending some time figuring out what all the fuss is about the flat Earth.  Don't worry, we all thought it was nonsense at first.  Of course, if it is a sphere, all of these arguments are easily debunkable.  Right?

Excellent! Each video is pointed and well-illustrated. And numbered!! I watched the first 15, which are all new. #3 is the best, imo. It would be a good starting point for disbelievers,

Bravo, author. Who is he? I don't recognize the voice and only see his channel, Know the Truth.

When are you flat tards going to just give up already and just accept the reality you are told is real?

:lol_alpha:

Which videos do you recommend that I probably haven't seen yet?

CM, VonLud.... I hope you check these out thoroughly and see if any of these made a difference in your adjustable opinion.  Shep too..... we got a lot of polite skeptics toward us & this stuff in here, I appreciate the civil nature of our debates from the skeptics, the maturity & self control deserves acknowledgement.  We're accustomed to being hated on for even mentioning all of this.

This isn't a bad video for newcomers to the flat earth debate.

I think I finally am a flat tard (ouch ... that was hard to say it out loud).  I'm guessing that you've seen them all except for the 20 proofs and #3 is probably the best of the 20.  I tried to provide a good sampling of some of the best flat earth videos out there for a genuine investigator willing to spend a couple of hours to learn about the flat earth.  I know I am missing some good ones.

Do you (or anyone else here) have a few more key videos to add?

I watched through the list, and am finishing the one I posted as I get time. I think that some of the arguments need improvement, such as the two airplanes flying perpendicular to each other. Since the atmosphere allegedly spins in perfect synchrony with the surface, no airplane would fly absolutely straight but would instead be in continual motion parallel to the earth's surface. On the other hand, if the spin of the earth is different depending on distance from the equator, then the same should hold true for distance above the surface, meaning jets flying at 30,000 feet should be pushed less by the earth's rotation than jets flying at 5,000 feet.

I agree with you.  It does need work.  He didn't include enough from the video below which illustrates the problems associated with the distance planes are flying even if the atmosphere is magically connected to the rotation of the Earth.  I also think that fluid dynamics is a HUGE argument in favor of the flat Earth, i.e., atmosphere speeds would decrease in a swirl (like a whirlpool).  The atmosphere closer to the Earth should move much faster than the atmosphere near space.

The other HUGE argument that I haven't found a good video for yet is the one Joseph Klimera had regarding the stars.  Every six months the entire Earth should have new stars.  Of course, the stars change but every star we see is visible somewhere on the Earth right now.  That should be impossible because the nighttime of Earth should be pointed in opposite directions every six months and looking at entirely new stars notwithstanding the hemisphere.

There are bound to be weaknesses in any presentation. Which is why I wish the video makers would collaborate to make at least one video with concise summaries of the reasons. There are SO MANY reasons to prove the case for flat earth. I keep pushing the oceans-must-be-flat reason because to me that's the easiest for people to wrap their heads around.  When they don't, for crying out loud, I understand how deeply the brain cancer has grown.

The stars are the next best reason, imo, to present to new thinkers. The earth wobbles, spins, vortexes in multiple directions at hundreds of thousands mph, yet the stars in the night sky change almost not at all over years and centuries. That should be impossible if all the stars are likewise running around at near light speed every which way.

Well, no discouraging words from the flat earth doubters so far?

All the videos on the same page always breaks my internets.

I have heard this before but it is not true.
The constellation Orion is a good example for demonstration.
It is one everyone knows, and since it straddles the celestial equator, it is visible in both northern and southern hemispheres.
But not in the summer, because it is in the daytime sky.
