American Airlines -Nationwide Ground Stop!

American Airlines grounded all flights nationwide due to technical issues Thursday, sources told ABC7.

The airline responded to disgruntled passengers experiencing flight delays via Twitter, saying the company is "working to resolve technical issues."

American Airlines has grounded flights at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Chicago and Miami due to a technical issue.

In a statement released Thursday afternoon, the airline said: "We’re working to resolve technical issues impacting several airports as quickly as possible. We will provide updates and more information as they become available. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience."

I miss the good old days when flying was soooooo much fun. I flew on the Continental Pub whenever I could! Back in the 70's, you could smoke, drink, play pong and wander around in the airplane bar.

Now we have to be frisked and do the TSA tango before we can get near a plane, stay strapped in our seats and don't congregate near the bathroom.
